FreeBSD 7 on Dell R300 Notes
May 7th, 2008 | by steve |We got a new server in at work and I had a bit of trouble with FreeBSD 7.0 on it. Turns out the network driver is a Broadcom BCM5722, which is supported by the bge(4) driver, but the device ID for this particular driver was missing. It has been added since then, so I grabbed a snapshot and all was good.
